Your website and hosting will be taken offline. You can cancel at any time - there's no penalty and no cancellation fee.

How the Escrow process works
- You choose the Buy-&-Own Plan with escrow payment option
- I create the transaction on Escrow.com and send you the details by email.
- Create an Escrow.com account (if you don't have one already) & agree to the terms (a list of every item that is included in your website package)
- You pay funds over to Escrow.com, not to me. Funds are securely held in a trust account.
- Escrow.com receives the funds and notifies me.
- I publish your website live & also send you the website folder (that contains the source code, images etc) by email.
- You get an inspection window of 7 days to verify that your website is as agreed.
- Once you approve (or the inspection period runs out with no issues), Escrow.com releases the funds to me.
If you have any questions while the transaction is open, I am available to help.
So in summary, you see the finished website published on the internet, you inspect it, you approve it, then (and only then) do I get paid. It's free, secure & safe.

Escrow.com is the gold standard for escrow transactions of digital assets worldwide. The company is licensed, regulated & backed by a 20-year track record.
Domain renewal is charged by your own registrar. When your site is handed over and the domain is transferred to the registrar of your choice - GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger, Bluehost and so on - that registrar charges its own domain renewal fee on the domain, as set by ICANN rules. Every registrar sets its own rate, so please check the renewal price with the registrar you pick before you transfer, as it is not something I can set for you.
There is a 60-day lock on a newly registered domain. Under ICANN rules a domain cannot be transferred to another registrar within 60 days of its first registration. An automatic domain lock applies for that period, so if the handover needs the domain moved to a different registrar, that part can only happen once the 60 days have passed.
